BROKEN BOW RECORDS INTRODUCES DUSTIN LYNCH

Debut Single, “Cowboys and Angels,” Impacts Country Radio / Available on iTunes Today

COUNTRY WEEKLY Hosts, “CW on the DL,” featuring Exclusive Dustin Lynch Music, Videos and More

NASHVILLE, TN -- Broken Bow Records, home to superstar Jason Aldean, is pleased to introduce singer-songwriter Dustin Lynch, whose highly anticipated debut single, “Cowboys and Angels,” impacts Country Radio today.

Written by Dustin Lynch alongside Grammy award-winning songwriter Tim Nichols as well as #1 songwriter and producer Josh Leo, “Cowboys and Angels,” is a sweeping, lyrical epic. A visually stunning, love ballad evoking images of romantic heroes and showcasing Dustin’s distinctively deep, emotional vocals. "Cowboys and Angels” is available now on iTunes at: http://bit.ly/x4O0zn

Today also marks the launch of Country Weekly’s exclusive online series, “CW on the DL,” which will bring new Dustin Lynch music to fans first - straight out of the studio.

Beginning today, fans can visit: www.countryweekly.com/dustinlynch to stream Dustin’s debut single as well as watch the exclusive acoustic music video for, “Cowboys and Angels.” CountryWeekly.com also treats fans to a, “Best of Tuesdays on the DL,” webisode featuring Dustin’s behind-the-scenes travels as he zigzags the country performing live shows and embarking upon antics on the road.

Through Feb. 28, Country Weekly will exclusively premiere a new song from Dustin every other Tuesday, along with a new video diary episode of, “Tuesdays on the DL,” showcasing further glimpses into life behind the scenes of the rising, young star.

Influenced in his youth by such stalwart country singers as Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and Clint Black, Dustin Lynch obtained a fake ID – not for underage drinking – but for a much bigger purpose. He needed one to pursue his dream…a career in music.

Understanding the legacy and importance of The Bluebird Cafe, he chose his college – David Lipscomb University – in part because it was less than two miles from the club, which proved immensely important in his development. The Tullahoma, Tennessee native rented an apartment behind the venue’s back parking lot and literally walked to the Bluebird several times a week to listen and learn about the mysterious art of creating songs from some of Nashville’s most important writers.

That education paid off in a big way for Dustin. He signed with Broken Bow Records – the home of Jason Aldean and sister label to Stoney Creek Records (home to Thompson Square).

After honing his skills on the southeastern club circuit, making him one of Country music’s most buzzed-about ‘Artists to Watch in 2012,’ Dustin is currently in the studio working with producer Brett Beavers (known for his work with Dierks Bentley) and engineer Luke Wooten (Brad Paisley, Sunny Sweeney) on his debut album (due later this year) with a backlog of his own songs.

Fans will be treated to a raucous fully plugged set of Dustin’s dynamic brand of party songs and ballads as he headlines Nashville Lifestyle’s 8th Annual “Music in the City” event on January 31st at The Tin Roof in Nashville at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and can be purchased here. Proceeds benefit Keep Music in Music City.

Broken Bow Records

With a roster of talented artists that now include Jason Aldean, Kristy Lee Cook, James Wesley, Blake Wise and Dustin Lynch, Broken Bow Records continues to make a name for itself in the country music industry. The success of BBR artist Jason Aldean in particular has launched the label to the top of the charts. Jason Aldean began his success at the label in 2005, when his self-titled debut album ("Hicktown" "Why" "Amarillo Sky") was certified Gold in 12 weeks and shortly thereafter was certified Platinum.

In rapid succession, another Gold and Platinum album followed giving birth to the hit singles, “Johnny Cash,” “She’s Country,” “Big Green Tractor,” “The Truth” and “Crazy Town.” “Big Green Tractor” was also a #1 ringtone in all genres- the first Country ringtone to hold that distinction.

BBR looks forward to continued success and growth in the years to come.
