Friday, April 12, 2013 - 12:35

JASON ALDEAN AND OVER 60,000 FANS SET TO
MAKE HISTORY TOMORROW AT FIRST-EVER
UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA STADIUM SHOW

Aldean Named ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Earlier This Week

Nashville, TN – April 12, 2013 – ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Jason Aldean is approaching one of the biggest moments in his career tomorrow as he is set to play for more than 60,000 fans at the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium. Aldean is already in Athens preparing for the first show to ever be held there. Tickets for this 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR stop sold out in less than an hour last October.

49 trucks and 27 buses have taken over Sanford Stadium in preparation for the historic event “between the hedges.” Aldean’s crew has been in Athens for four days building one of the biggest outdoor stages in the nation and hanging hundreds of lights, speakers, cameras and high resolution video panels connected with over 3 miles of cable to bring one of the biggest events in country music this year to life. The show will include over 600 staff, pyrotechnics and a helicopter flyover. Fellow Georgians Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett are also on the bill, along with current tour mate and Florida native Jake Owen.

“It’s been a long road from playing for 10 people just down the street in Macon, GA where I grew up to headlining the stadium of my favorite football team,” said Aldean. “But I feel like that whole road was leading me to this place, at this moment. I was born a Bulldog fan, and I have so many great memories at Sanford through the years. I've been working my whole career to get my live show to this level and I can’t imagine a better place to kick off the stadium shows we're doing this summer. We're about to take tailgating to another level!"

Additionally, Aldean was named Male Vocalist of the Year at Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. He also took home the trophy for Vocal Event of the Year for his No. one song "The Only Way I Know" feat. Luke Bryan and Eric Church, marking his second consecutive win in that category. The third single off his PLATINUM album NIGHT TRAIN, "1994," is currently racing up the Top 20. "1994" comes on the heels of seven consecutive No. one singles and eleven career chart-toppers.

The 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR has sold out every show so far this year, including Aldean's Madison Square Garden debut in Feb. that sold out in seven minutes. Other stadium stops include Boston’s Fenway Park (7/12 and 7/13) and Chicago’s Wrigley Field (7/20).

BROKEN BOW’S JAMES WESLEY RETURNS TO COUNTRY RADIO WITH “THANK A FARMER”
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 - 18:04

HOMAGE TO AMERICA’S HEARTLAND SCORES 25 FIRST WEEK MONITORING STATIONS

“THANK A FARMER” EARNING EARLY RAVE REVIEWS AT ITUNES NOW

(Nashville, TN)- Broken Bow’s James Wesley is back with his new single “Thank A Farmer,” a powerful, heartfelt homage to America’s heartland just in time for National Agriculture Day (March 19).

Wesley, whose previous hits include the Top 25 singles “Real” and “Didn’t I,” scored 25 first week monitoring stations upon the single’s debut yesterday at Country Radio including the major markets of Nassau-Suffolk, NY; Portland, OR; Sacramento, CA and Kansas City, MO.

“Thank A Farmer” tells the story of both the struggles and importance of farming as the backbone of every American community. From the skyscrapers of millions-populated cities to the back roads of our rural small towns, Wesley’s “Thank A Farmer” reintroduces the idea of paying respect to the hardworking men and women that make our daily conveniences possible. These include luxuries that we often take for granted, including “the coffee in our cup,” and “the blacktop roads. . .that used to be his land,” and even the “tank top-wearing Country girls in old skin tight blue jeans.”

Co-written this past summer by Wesley’s Broken Bow Records label mate Dustin Lynch, GRAMMY-nominated Magic Mustang songwriter Steve Bogard and recording artist Josh Thompson, “Thank A Farmer” immediately hit home for Wesley. Having grown up on a dairy farm in Mound Valley, KS, Wesley spent his high school years raising livestock on his family’s farm and studying crops as a member of the FFA (Future Farmers of America).

“This song IS me and where I am from which is ‘The Heartland’ of Southeast Kansas. I raised goats, chickens, ducks, pigeons, and we always had a big garden growing up. I can't tell you how many green beans I picked before and after school growing up!” says Wesley of his background and decision to record the song.

“Growing up on a small farm taught me to be responsible and gave me a sense of pride, but above all it gave me a great work ethic. I have always had to work for what I got,” continues Wesley. “Growing up in a farming community was everything. A man’s word meant something and a handshake was a deal. If anyone was ever in need you could always count on your neighbor.”

Fans can preview and download the single now at iTunes: http://smarturl.it/thankafarmer

Watch the official lyric video for “Thank A Farmer” on Youtube.com at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iojw0gnIhs&feature=youtu.be

The song is already earning strong reactions from tastemakers, media and radio alike:

“James Wesley tips his hat to the men who have given so much to America. It definitely plays to his vocal strengths, and with all the attention given to the recent Dodge commercial, this one should get him some well-deserved attention!”
~ Chuck Dauphin (Writer, Billboard; Roughstock)

“While he has consistently delivered solid music, “Thank A Farmer” is a game changer for James Wesley.” ~Countrymusicrocks.net

“You want instant reaction? Play this song. One time is all it takes. Talk about a slam dunk...” ~ Scott Donato, WGTY, York, PA

“…This is awesome, perfect timing, perfect song!” ~ Nate Deaton, KRTY, San Jose, CA

“Wow. Talk about timely. Reaction record, for sure!” ~ Jesse Roberts, WGGY, Scranton, PA

"The first time I heard 'Thank a Farmer' it immediately hit home. Being a farmer's daughter myself I realize the importance of sharing this message. Agriculture is the backbone of our great nation. Without farmers there would be no food on our tables or clothes on our backs. I think a song like this is exactly what America needs right now - to bring awareness to agriculture and share the story of the hardworking American farmer. Aside from the song's great lyrics, Jame's deep and soulful vocals add authenticity to the song. He's sings about what he knows and what he believes. To see that in both an artist and a song is refreshing." ~ Ashlie Kolb, producer, NBC’s The Better Show

ABOUT JAMES WESLEY:
Broken Bow Records’ James Wesley has two Top 25 singles under his belt - “Real” and “Didn’t I.” Wesley’s “Real” music video reached #1 on CMT’s Pure 12-Pack Countdown and “Didn’t I” peaked at #2. The Mound Valley, KS native’s “Jackson Hole” was also a Top 40 hit. Wesley has supported superstars Taylor Swift on her “Speak Now World Tour” as well as Country legend Ronnie Dunn. Wesley is the first-ever celebrity to partner with national clothing brand Farm Boy/ Farm Girl on his own co-branded line of apparel. “We’ve been down in Tupelo, MS the last week or so getting ready,” said Aldean. “It's like Christmas with all the new toys we've got on stage…I don’t even understand how my crew makes all this happen night after night, but it’s awesome. Fans can expect to hear new songs off his recently released Platinum album NIGHT TRAIN, including brand new single “1994,” “The Only Way I Know,” “Night Train,” and “When She Says Baby."

Jason Aldean Relives "1994" with Next Single!
Tuesday, February 19, 2013 - 15:09

JASON ALDEAN FLASHES BACK TO “1994” FOR THE THIRD SINGLE OFF PLATINUM ALBUM NIGHT TRAIN

Aldean Heads to NYC Next Week for Multiple Television Appearances, All For The Hall New York and a Sold-Out Madison Square Garden Show

Nashville, TN – Feb. 19, 2013 – PLATINUM selling entertainer Jason Aldean will give country radio a dose of nostalgia unlike anything heard before when he releases his next single, “1994,” available on Play MPE today.

“1994” embraces hip-hop elements and takes listeners on a fun journey through the year Aldean was a senior in high school, Justin Bieber was born, OJ Simpson’s white Bronco sped across the nation's TV screens and a gallon of gas only cost $1.09. When Aldean first heard the demo of the song, written by Barry Dean, Luke Laird and Thomas Rhett, he nearly fell out of his chair laughing and knew it was something totally different that he wanted to take a crack at recording for the record.

“I love that this song gets such a reaction from people,” said Aldean. “Country music in the mid-90's was a big influence on my career, and I played all the songs that are referenced in '94 back in my club days. Joe Diffie was rocking a sick mullet, and he was hotter than ever…just putting out monster hit after monster hit. It totally takes me back to those days, and it makes me smile every time I hear it."

Critics prove that the song’s unique approach is well-received, with the Associated Press praising Aldean’s risk-taking by saying, “As much as Aldean has tested the conventions of country music in recent years, nothing comes close to the nerve it took to cut ‘1994’.” Additionally, Billboard labels it “the most downright fun country song to emerge this year” and claims that it “represents the blending of hip-hop to country like no other song before it.”

Aldean will debut “1994” next Tues. on TODAY (2/26) and on Wed. on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (2/27). While in NYC, he'll also perform at the All for the Hall New York show at the Best Buy Theatre where he will join Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris and more in raising money for the Country Music Hall of Fame and at his first-ever show at Madison Square Garden, which sold out a few weeks ago in less than 10 minutes.

The 2013 NIGHT TRAIN tour kicks off this Thurs. with a sold out first weekend and continues on to 24 cities through May. Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will open for Aldean on the tour which also includes sold out stadium shows at the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium (4/13), two shows at Boston’s Fenway Park (7/12 and 7/13) and Chicago’s Wrigley Field (7/20).
