New Single and catch Randy Owen's 'cirb' on CMT's 'Cribs' Saturday, January 31

Randy Owen has been lauded over the years for penning numerous chart-topping hits for super group Alabama, but he stepped outside for the latest single from his debut solo cd One On One. “Holding Everything,” an upbeat duet with his Broken Bow Records label-mate Megan Mullins, was written by none other than Dolly Parton. “Dolly and I share the same hair stylist, and she has brought me several songs over the years,” said Randy. “She kept telling me about this wonderful song Dolly just wrote, and she said I just had to hear it. It’s a great song, and it’s one of the most exciting tracks on the whole cd.”

Be sure to tune into CMT’s “Cribs” on Saturday, January 31 to get a tour of Randy’s early 1900s-era Victorian home in the heart of Ft. Payne, Alabama. The beautiful home and his 2000-acre farm are also featured in People Magazine’s new special Country Music issue, which hits newsstands February 6, 2009.

RANDY OWEN WRAPS UP ALBUM & BOOK TOUR TONIGHT

When Randy Owen’s five-week tour promoting his debut solo album One On One and “Born Country” memoir wraps up at the Mall of America Barnes & Noble outside Minneapolis tonight, he will have made stops in 22 cities. Included in the number are signings at 22 stores, at least 23 radio visits, 12 appearances on national and local television shows and five concerts. Not included in the tally are CMA Week activities and his annual Tennessee River Music Farms Angus Cattle Sale the Saturday following Thanksgiving. During Owen’s tour stop at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery on Friday, Alabama Attorney General Troy King was among those waiting in line to obtain an autograph and shake the hand of the State’s favorite son.

Following tonight’s event, he will head home and arrive in Ft. Payne in time to celebrate his birthday on Saturday, December 13.

BBR artists Unite!!

Imagine one of your musical influences surprising you on stage during a performance to sing a duet with you. Jason Aldean experienced this dream for himself when his musical idol Randy Owen of Alabama made a surprise appearance at Jason's Columbus, GA tour stop. Randy added his vocals to Jason's cover of the Alabama hit "My Home's in Alabama" making it a night neither Jason or the audience will soon forget.

Jason Aldean to perform on the CMA Awards!!

Jason Aldean will be debuting his brand new single "She’s Country" on this year’s CMA Awards Show Wednesday 11/12 at 7pm central time on ABC. This will be the first release off of Jason’s third BBR album due out in the spring. Jason is also nominated for a CMA Award for Best New Artist. Tune into the show to cheer him on and be one of the first to hear Jason’s brand new rockin’ hit "She’s Country." The song will be available for purchase online (including iTunes) on Tuesday 11/11.
